Nestled among rolling hills with no close neighbors, the property provides privacy, open skies, and the freedom to celebrate without restriction. Thoughtfully cultivated flowers and herbs bloom throughout the summer, while evergreens and shade trees keep the grounds cool and inviting.

About Us
The first wedding on this property took place in 1992, when Hunt and Letty Hatch were married here as its original stewards. In the decades that followed, the property became both family home and working tree farm. Hunt devoted much of his life to forestry and conservation, building the house in the 1970s and carefully tending the surrounding land. Letty, meanwhile, envisioned something more refined. When she would plant flowers and shape the landscape, Hunt would affectionately grumble, “This is a farm, not a park.”
In his later years, as Hunt’s health declined, Letty and their daughter Sabrina cared for him together. During that time, they continued tending the property — planting, painting, pruning — slowly shaping the land into what it is today. After Hunt passed in 2022, mother and daughter formally joined forces to share this piece of Idaho with others.
Today, H&H Lodgings and Events is both continuation and evolution — a family property rooted in stewardship, resilience, and a long-held dream. Hatch Tree Farms lives on through its conservation legacy, and the home and grounds now host the gatherings Letty once imagined.
